This self-paced online course (under development) was designed by Michael Shaw in 2000-01, for educators and course designers that are relatively new to e-learning. It will provide participants with a firm understanding of basic design and application techniques for creating and facilitating networked and other e-learning activities. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

This course was designed to run on a minimal system and network. You should have a minimum of a PC PII 200 MHz or a MAC 140 Mhz computer with an Internet connection. A 28K modem will work but a 56K connection or higher is highly recommended.

You will need to have the following plug-ins installed in your Web browser. You can download and install them by clicking on the icon and following the directions that will appear. 

Minimum screen resolution for this course is 800x600, and screens may be resized larger if desired.
